Congratulations to Bobbie Hainey on being named Rissler Elementary School's Teacher of the Quarter! Mrs. Hainey is the Library/Media Center teacher at Rissler. A big thanks to Coach Esry and the men's basketball team from North Central Missouri College. They came to Rissler to help out with High Five Friday. They did a great job and the Rissler students loved it. Thanks again for making today special.
Last Friday night BTC Bank presented a check for $8,919.00 to the Trenton R-IX School District. This donation represents the 118,900 swipes from community members who chose the Trenton Bulldog Mascot Debit Card. We're so grateful for BTC Bank's continued investment in our youth and rural communities!

We had a well-attended 1st Quarter ABC Awards assembly. The A in ABC is for Academic Achievement (Red). The B is for Behavior or BARK Expectations (Blue) and the C is for Citizenship and Character Strong (Yellow). It was great to celebrate excellence and high achievement in Rissler students. I’m surrounded by great teachers and great students every day. It made it even better to share the moment with the parents. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community here in Trenton.

Today was another day we celebrated students and staff choosing to come to school with our "Just Because You're Here" prizes. When kids are at school, they learn. We reward attendance at school. We have dedicated students and staff. #RisslerStrong
