We are thrilled to announce that all offices at Trenton R-IX School District will be open starting Monday, August 5th. Our dedicated team is ready and eager to assist you with any questions or concerns you might have.
We are also excited to inform you that online enrollment for the new school year will begin on Tuesday, August 6th. A link will be sent out that day.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and look forward to another year of learning, growth, and success. Your continued support and involvement are key to our students' success, and we can't wait to see what this year brings!

You Can't Stop Awesome! Trenton Summer School had their annual pool party today at the Trenton Aquatic Center. The rain tried to ruin the party, but nobody seemed to notice. It was great fun had by all.
Trenton Summer School took their second big field trip to Crowder State Park on Tuesday. This time it was with the 4th and 5th grade students. The day was full of activities like: kayaking, canoeing, archery and fishing. It was an awesome day for Trenton Summer School students. Big thanks to Crowder State Park for making this happen.
Big Thanks to Barnes Greenhouse, who was kind enough to give the 2nd and 3rd grade classes of summer school a guided tour of their facilities. The students got to have a behind the scenes look at how a 7 acre horticultural business operates. The best part was the expert descriptions of every step of the process. Thanks again.
Summer School Reminder
No School - Wednesday, June 19th 2024
Our friends at BTC Bank are making things happen again. Trenton Summer School students went on two more field trips sponsored by the grant given by BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp. I will post pictures of the two fields trips below. June 11th the 2nd and 3rd grade students learned about local wildlife at Crowder State Park and the 4th and 5th grades students celebrated with a visited to Trenton Cinema. Have I ever told you how awesome the people are at BTC Bank? I hope so!
Thank you Army National Guard. Sergeant Kayden Spencer and Private Nautica Dowling visited Trenton Summer School for high five Friday. It turned into a big party this morning in front of S. M. Rissler Elementary when the Trenton mascots showed up. Thank you again.

Schedule changes for Thursday June 13th.
Tennis camp will be elementary from 10-10:45, and middle school from 11-11:45. There will be no MS football tomorrow. MS Weights stay at the normal time.
Grundy County Jewett Norris Library hosted a marionette performance of Beauty and the Beast. I joined the kindergarten and 1st grade classes of summer school who made the historic trip to Norris Library. We laughed, we cried, and in the end everyone lived happily ever after. The best part was after the show when the one man puppeteer explained how he made the wooden figures come alive.

Thank you BTC Bank. It was a great day for Trenton summer school students. Trenton 2nd and 3rd grade students went to Shatto Dairy today. BTC Bank made this possible through a grant given by their nonprofit organization, BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp. The BTC people are awesome. Please stop by and thank them when you have a chance.
A big thank you to Boy Scout Troop 97. Scout Masters Dustin Todd and Jeremy Chambers taught a lesson on fire safety today at Trenton Summer School. More importantly, they ended the lesson cooking s'mores with the students. Thanks again!
The Trenton Mascots made a visit to Trenton Summer School today. The mighty bulldogs were giving high fives to the students this morning and even made some classroom visits. Thanks for a great start to the school day!
Big thanks to the FFA students that came to Rissler to build and run this year's FFA Petting Zoo. The Trenton Summer School students loved it. The FFA sponsors follow up with in class instruction to teach about America's food supply.
