SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

(Public Notice of Filing)

The Trenton R-IX School District invites qualified individuals to consider candidacy for the school board in the upcoming election scheduled for April 8, 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to file their candidacy at the Superintendent's office located at 1607 Normal St., Trenton. Filing Period:

• Start Date: December 10, 2024, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

• End Date: December 31, 2024, with special filing hours from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Filing is open during the district's regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on December 10-20, and December 26, 27, and 30. Please note that filing will not take place on days when the district's central offices are closed due to inclement weather or designated holidays. The offices will be closed December 23-25.

Positions Available: There are two board positions available, each with a three-year term. We encourage community members to consider this valuable opportunity to make a difference in the educational landscape of the Trenton R-IX School District.
