Students and staff at the Trenton High School and Middle School campus are enjoying the use of the new outdoor courtyard. The courtyard was constructed in an area between the High School and Middle School buildings left over from the construction of the new Performing Arts Center. The courtyard was furnished with benches and picnic tables made possible by a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The furniture, made by Champlin Tire Recycling, are constructed of at least 40% recycled scrap rubber and are both comfortable and durable. Students and staff have enjoyed occasionally using the space for classes and lunches, especially during the pandemic.
